Hi again ladies! It is spring already, the sun is out, it's getting dark after 7 and the high heels and fashion nova is making it's way into the chat! 

     We should all have some sort of fail proof diet fad that we run to in the midst of a crisis. I sure do. When my best friend is throwing together her 3rd event of the year and I haven't had a chance to recover from the last 2. Or when my kid's birthday is coming up which means...you guessed it... pictures. And no one wants to look double scooped on a precious memory with the little ones. I know it can be hard to manage life on top of staying fit, but the one who loses doesn't try.


              I believe at this point in the year we are all on our "I can't try" phase, and I encourage you to reconsider. Even as I write this article, I don't really feel my best, fighting off a cold I caught from the weather change. But alas, I have an audience that needs me.

I use sites like the weekly ad to find the best deals on what I'll need for my meal prep. Contrary to popular belief, meat is ok when losing weight. To lose 20lbs in 16 weeks, follow daily to accelerate weight loss and kickstart metabolism. Moderation is important, substitute and dairy, nut, and gluten ingredients as needed. Avoid any foods on the list that will cause allergic reactions or dietary restraints.


MONDAY- SUNDAY 7AM-7PM NO EXCEPTIONS

Breakfast

1 black cup of coffee; squeeze lemon quarter, add a spoonful of cayenne or one cayenne capsule

1 cup of hot tea; 2 rice cakes

One scrambled egg in a pat of vegan butter. NO salt. NO carbs at all with this meal

Fresh berries and choice of hot liquid 


Lunch

Tuna and avocado on wheat crackers. Salt and pepper to taste.

Fresh berries

Lean red meat with side salad. Oil and vinaigrette dressing ONLY

Choice of hot liquid

2 slices of preferred lunch meat; sliced turkey, pepperoni, black forest ham, sliced chicken


Dinner

Meal choice from approved list. No carbs with this meal except listed in recipe

Choice of hot liquid. NO sugar NO cream

Frozen Greek yogurt with strawberries and black pepper


Drink much water in between all meals


The exercise that I promised you can do anywhere?


Engage your core during all movement, Be mindful and consistent. Eat standing up when possible. 


Attempt 20 jumping jacks and 20 situps 3 times a day. Add more if flexibility permits.
